Sylvia Haggis
Passed away on the 5th of May 2008
Aged 67
Worked in the mills, then in the biscuit factory in Halifax and later voluntary at Ebeneezers.
Lived in Halifax
She had four sisters, two have already passed away, Nora and Laura, Ethel and Noreen are still living and she also had a brother George who is also still living. She has three living children, Steven, Linda and Elaine.

Sylvia was my Auntie, she was a very strong and independent person, she had worked hard all her life and had suffered a great deal with her own family problems and mental illness but had in the end finally found peace. She had been in and out of hospital for the last couple of years needing surgery for different problems and at the end of April she had had some cancer removed. Unfortunately she was rushed back into hospital in the early hours of Sunday 4th of May and needed a life saving op. She was given a 50/50 chance and sadly although the surgeons tried so hard, she passed away on Monday the 5th of May during surgery, they couldn't do anthing for her. Auntie Sylvia was one of the most honest and out spoken people that I've had the pleasure to have in my life, alot of her ways are in me and most of my family. The honesty and straight-forwardness! She will be sadly missed by all her loving family.
Good Night God Bless Auntie Sylvia, May Perpetual Light Shine Upon You and May You Rest In Peace. xxxx

Right now I'm in a different place
And though we seem apart
I'm closer than I ever was
... I'm there inside your heart
♥´*•.¸*•.¸ ♥ ¸.•*´¸.•*´´*
I'm with you when you greet each day
And while the sun shines bright
I'm there to share the sunsets, too
... I'm with you every night
♥´*•.¸*•.¸ ♥ ¸.•*´¸.•*´´*
I'm with you when the times are good
To share a laugh or two,
And if a tear should start to fall
... I'll still be there for you
♥´*•.¸*•.¸ ♥ ¸.•*´¸.•*´´*
And when that day arrives
That we no longer are apart,
I'll smile and hold you close to me
... Forever in my heart

Sending all my love and hugs to you love emma xxx

I Said A Prayer For You Today.

I said a prayer for you today
and know God must of heard,
I felt the answer in my heart
although He spoke no word.
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
I knew you wouldn't mind,
I asked Him to send treasures
of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He'd be near you
at the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings
and friends to share your way.
I asked happiness for you
in all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.
